Our uplighters are battery powered and wireless, so there are no trailing cables or extension leads. They can be placed anywhere in the room, such as around walls, pillars, the dance floor, stage or top table, and look fantastic in photos.
How Many Uplighters Do I Need?
Our uplighters are hired per light, so you choose how many you need. As a guide:
- Small room or feature wall: 4 uplighters
- Function room or village hall: 6 to 8 uplighters
- Large hall or marquee: 10 or more uplighters

LED Uplighter Hire
Gedling Entertainment's wireless LED uplighters are an easy way to add colour and atmosphere to any venue, with no cables and no fuss.
Included with each Uplighter:
- 1 x battery powered wireless LED uplighter, fully charged
- Your choice of colour, set by our team
- Set up and collection by our team. A delivery charge may apply depending on your location
Technical Information:
- LEDs: 4 x 8W RGBW LEDs for bright, rich colours and a true white
- Brightness: 1,954 lux at 2m
- Effects: Static colour, colour fade, colour change and sound-active modes
- Power: Rechargeable battery, so no cables or sockets needed
- Battery life: Up to 18 hours on a single colour, or around 8 hours on colour change
- Control: Wireless DMX and remote control, so all lights can be set to the same colour
- Size: Compact at around 20cm x 14cm x 14cm, with an adjustable foot to angle the light up the wall

No. They're battery powered and wireless, so there are no cables or sockets needed during your event.
Can you match our colours?
Yes. The uplighters can be set to almost any colour, so they can match your wedding colours, party theme or company branding. Let us know your colours when you book.
Do you set them up?
Yes. Our team places the uplighters around your venue, sets your colour and collects them after your event.
Can they go outside?
Only under cover, such as inside a marquee. They must be kept dry.
