A Look Back On 2023
2023 has been one of our busiest years, filled with parties and events all over the East Midlands. In this post we'll take a look back on the year and some of our favourite moments!
January
January was one of our busiest months for soft play, especially the portable soft play centre. Our fantastic modular soft play frames were providing entertainment for birthday parties every weekend, some opted for a small 4 piece setup and others went big and chose our 9 piece VIP option which came with white picket fencing and one of our amazing deluxe soft play packages.
February
February was a month filled with popcorn, candy floss, slush and pick n' mix as our fun foods machines travelled around the East Midlands to birthday parties, corporate fun days and university events. We also introduced our brand new popcorn stand designed and built by our own team to add an extra wow factor to your booking!
March
March was a busy time for our design and production team as they repaired, maintained and built items ready for the busy summer season. By doing our own maintenance and repairs we are able to keep our entire stock of equipment ready to hire at all time and it ensures our items are to the highest quality possible.
April
In April we received our first set of new equipment for the year, this included our fantastic 7m Climbing Wall, challenging Hungry Hippos and adrenaline filled Wrecking Ball. Of course as soon as they had arrived our warehouse team set them straight up and checked they were just as fun as we expected them to be!
May
One of our busiest weekends of the year was during the King's Coronation in May, our team of drivers and event staff were out on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday providing inflatables, interactive games and simulators to events all over the East Midlands. All our customers had fantastic events and we're so happy we were part of making that happen!
June
It seemed like everyone was getting married in June 2023! This was the busiest month for our wedding entertainment with our team delivering our fantastic equipment not just at the weekends but throughout the week as well! Our favourite has to be the booking shown above, this customer decided to go for the fun fair theme and book our amazing 9 hole crazy golf, skittle alley, high striker, side stall coconut shy and a variety of small fair games.
July
As we got closer and closer to the summer holidays schools began hosting their end of year rewards for pupils! We have a whole range of action inflatables perfect for those teenagers with loads of energy, the simulator rides such as the Ultimate Wipeout gives them the opportunity to go head-to-head against their friends to see who can be the last one standing, our brilliant range of assault courses lets them race side by side to see who can complete it the fastest, or if they're not the competitive type they can slide down our eye catching 10ft platform slide!
August
Company fun days! In August we travelled all over the East Midlands delivering fun filled equipment to corporate clients for their annual summer socials, family fun days or celebrations. SG Haulage celebrated the companies 30th birthday and we provided all the fun, our rodeo bull put them to the test to see who could hold on the longest, the 28ft fun run kept the children entertained while the adults went head-to-head on the football darts to see who had the better accuracy. Finally our giant custom branded deck chair and huge LED 30 provided some fantastic photo opportunities!
September
Feeling Fresh! September meant it was time for the start of Freshers, we provided loads of entertainment items to universities such as Nottingham Trent, Sheffield and Loughborough. We even helped university halls welcome their new residents with some fun games and simulator rides! To attract attention a society booked our 9 hole crazy golf and had it placed right outside the front doors of the students union!
October
The winter months got closer, the sun set earlier and it got a lot more colder! But we didn't let that get in the way of our last month of outdoor hires. Our final outdoor hire of the season was our giant inflatable helter skelter, this went to Newark Castle for the Children's Bereavement Centre's annual ScareFest event. Now that the outdoor season was over it was time to begin the winter clean, all our largest items are checked for damages, cleaned and dried then put into storage ready for next April!
November
Heading into the warmth of the indoors, it's officially the soft play season! Our fantastic soft play packages were the highlight of this month, we travelled to venues/halls all over Nottinghamshire to deliver our stunning soft play, we have over 8 themes to choose from with each one having its own set of money saving packages! We put a lot of effort into making our soft play hire the best it can be and seeing the look on our customers' faces when setting up makes it all worth it!
December
It's Christmas Time! There's no better way to finish off the year than with a Christmas party, This is when our wide selection of interactive games really get to shine as they make their way to businesses, schools and community groups for their end of year celebrations! It's also when Rudolph the rodeo reindeer finally comes out of hibernation to give Ralph the rodeo bull a rest. Our authentic log cabin style santa's grotto also makes a number of appearances across Nottingham for children's santa visits.
And that's 2023 all wrapped up!
